For most planted aquariums, get the 500 ml bottle with the pump head that treats 5,000 gallons total. Just dose 1 pump per 10 gallons of water each week to get great-looking plants for less than a penny per gallon. For nano tanks smaller than 10 gallons, the 120 ml bottle with the dropper cap is perfect and treats 1,200 gallons total.

Directions/Specifications

Recommended Dosing Instructions:
1.  For the 500 ml (16.9 oz) bottle, dose 1 pump (1 ml) per 10 gallons of water
—  Dose once a week for low light aquariums
—  Dose twice a week for medium light aquariums

2.  For the 120 ml (4 oz) bottle, dose 2 drops per gallon of water
—  Dose once a week for low light aquariums
—  Dose twice a week for medium light aquariums

We recommend having between 20–50 ppm of nitrate in your aquarium from dosing Easy Green for optimal plant growth.

Notes:
—  Store the fertilizer upright and away from children. The pump head is not leakproof. For optimal shelf life, store the fertilizer out of light.
—  Keep the tip of the pump clean of debris. Wiping the pump tip after each use helps prevent a mineral crust from developing. If the pump gets blocked up, it can cause the fertilizer to spray in a random direction, so run the pump head under warm water until the blockage melts away.
—  Warning: fertilizer can be irritating if it gets into your eyes, nose, or mouth, and it can cause stomach upset if swallowed. If you get Easy Green on your skin, rinse it off. Mixes my protein shake powder

My husband and I both drink protein shakes daily. We have vortex mixers that work great, but they are plastic and getting old, and really needed to be replaced. One last thing, do not turn it on while cleaning under running water. (Yes, you can laugh.)
